The product

Choosing a resin floor means choosing a "tailor-made" floor that is created with a design path that leads to the installation, in the desired environment, of a unique solution. Each resin solution responds to aesthetic and performance specifications required by the customer. The resin product has several pros, it is continuous and monolithic, has a high resistance to chemical and physical stress, has alow thickness but above all lends itself to infinite customisation and decoration.

  1. Tailor-made solution

  2. Stress resistance

 3. Low thickness

  1. Absence of joints

  2. Continuity effect

  3. Unique results

  4. Absence of waste materials

Quality in fact

resin surfaces are continuous, i.e. with no joints or interruptions.

Elasticity, impermeability, hygiene and resistance are characteristic features of this material.

The resins can be applied on existing substrates without creating problems of thickness or weighing down the original structure.  Some formulations are also suitable for vertical application, thus allowing for an effect of continuity between wall and floor.

The results are always unique and unrepeatable with avant-garde decorative shapes that are always elegant and modern.

Customer approach

The customer is followed, promptly and effectively.

Following a preliminary interview and the gathering of information, an ad hoc offer is created in which different solutions are proposed according to the customer's needs and preferences.

personalisation is the added value of the company.

  1. Speed and effectiveness

  2. Customer satisfaction

  3. Customisation

Our story

Our History

From your project idea to turnkey delivery

1970  Birth

RPM Italia was founded in the productive Northeast in 1970 with its own research facility on cross-linked polymer, which is the basis of the resin we know today. Immediately the company established itself in the building market with innovative solutions in various sectors: waterproofing, anticorrosive coatings, asbestos encapsulation and sealants.

The main product in this first phase of activity was Alumanation 301 which is an anti-corrosive and waterproofing coating for metal structures such as roofs, corrugated sheets, storage tanks, bridges, steel structures, pipes, cranes and pylons; by reflecting heat this product, which is still very innovative today, prevents corrosion of the metal substrates to which it is applied.

1989 Resins

With the end of the 1980s, the company realised a great need in the building market, continuous flooring. RPM Italia studies and proposes a wide range of solutions in pure resin, such as epoxy, polyurethane and methacrylate flooring that can be walked on and driven on for industrial environments.

The use of these resin products in an industrial environment has naturally been aimed at achieving maximum performance in terms of quality, reliability, resistance and durability.

2000 The acquisition

In 2000, Sergio Pranovi, an entrepreneur from Vicenza with a past in construction and a present in chemistry decided to combine these two great passions of his and acquired RPM Italia.

resin flooring and coverings are now an established and successful solution in the industrial field, but interesting prospects are also opening up in the residential and commercial fields. resin, in fact, is increasingly appreciated both for the continuity of spaces and for its high washability and consequent hygiene, but above all for its great possibility of customisation.

It was clear from the outset that in addition to the traditional product range, a product had to be created to meet the ever-increasing demand for more aesthetic resin materiality, and so the cementitious product line was born.

2007-2009
Two examples of great works

In 2007, RPM Italia was responsible for the flooring of the Etnapolis shopping centre designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas. The objective was to make the roof waterproof, carriageable and to create the relative road signs in order to use it as a car park. 75,000 square metres of poured resin for a shopping centre covering a linear area of 1 km are just some of the numbers of this important project completed.

In 2009 another important challenge opened up for RPM Italia, the C project.A.S.E. project in Abruzzo. The company, in fact, contributes to the realisation of temporary housing modules provided to the populations after the terrible earthquake of Easter 2009.

The company has worked on more than 800 flats, creating the flooring and wall coverings in bathrooms, terraces and stairwells.

2011 The new location

In 2011, in contrast with the national market, the owners inaugurated the company's new headquarters. In the new industrial area of Altavilla Vicentina (VI), 1400 square metres of offices, common areas, meeting and exhibition rooms and 4000 square metres dedicated to production and warehousing are the perfect environment in which to welcome customers and work to meet their increasingly complex requirements.

2015 The Milan headquarters

Milan is unquestionably the international capital of design and the company thought it natural to open a sales office to better follow the various architects and designers with whom it has been collaborating for years.

2022 An important challenge

In the midst of the building development boom that the city of Milan has experienced in recent years, the company has accepted an important challenge. Coating more than 2,000 steps in resin. È an artisanal creation, on an industrial scale practically. Thus the interior stairs of three magnificent towers are entirely covered with RPM Italia products.

2025 the implementation of automated logistics

The company is always ready to respond to customer needs. In this specific case, it was necessary to bring the concrete aisles, by means of special resin coatings, to a tolerance of more or less than 1 mm in order to access the shelves with an automated shuttle.
