RPM Italy: multifunctional floor coatings

From idea to reality
From your project idea to turnkey delivery
The product
Choosing a resin floor means choosing a "tailored" floor that is created through a design process that leads to the installation, in the desired environment, of a unique solution. Each resin solution meets specific aesthetic and performance requirements set by the customer. The resin product has several advantages, it is continuous and monolithic, it has high resistance to chemical and physical stress, it has a low thickness but above all it lends itself to infinite customizations and decorations.

1. Tailored solution
2. Resistance to stresses
3. Low thickness

1. Absence of joints
2. Continuity effect
3. Unique results
4. Absence of waste materials
Quality in fact
The resin surfaces are continuous, that is, without joints or interruptions.
Elasticity, impermeability, hygiene, and resistance are distinctive characteristics of this material.
Resins can be applied to existing substrates without causing problems of thickness or weighing down the original structure. Some formulations are also suitable for vertical application, thus allowing a continuity effect between wall and flooring.
The results are always unique and unrepeatable with cutting-edge decorative shapes always in the name of elegance and modernity.
Customer approach
The customer is followed up promptly and effectively.
Following a preliminary interview and information gathering, a tailored offer is created proposing different solutions based on the customer's needs and preferences.
The customization is the added value of the Company.

1. Speed and effectiveness
2. Customer satisfaction
3. Customization

Our Story
From your project idea to turnkey delivery
1970 The birth
RPM Italy was founded in the productive Northeast in 1970 with its own research facility on cross-linked polymer, which is the basis of the resin we know today. Immediately, the company established itself in the construction market with innovative solutions in various sectors: waterproofing, anti-corrosive coatings, solutions for asbestos encapsulation, and sealants.
The main product in this initial phase of activity was Alumanation 301, which is an anti-corrosive and waterproof coating for metal structures such as roofs, corrugated sheets, storage tanks, bridges, steel structures, pipes, cranes, and towers; reflecting heat, this product, still very innovative today, prevents the corrosion of the metal substrates to which it is applied.
1989 The resins
With the end of the 1980s, the Company understands a great need in the construction market, continuous flooring. RPM Italy studies and offers a wide range of pure resin solutions, such as epoxy, polyurethane, and walkable and drivable methacrylate flooring for industrial environments.
The use of these resin products in industrial environments naturally aimed to achieve maximum performance in terms of quality, reliability, resistance, and durability over time.

2000 The acquisition
In 2000 Sergio Pranovi, a Vicenza entrepreneur with a background in construction and a present in chemistry decides to combine these two great passions and acquires RPM Italy.
Resin flooring and coatings are now a well-established and winning solution in the industrial field, but interesting prospects are also opening up for residential and commercial sectors. Resin is increasingly appreciated for both the continuity of spaces and the high washability and consequent hygiene of the same, but above all for its great potential for customization.
It is clear from the very beginning that in addition to the range of traditional products, it is necessary to create a product that meets the growing demand for greater aesthetic materiality of resin, thus the line of cementitious products is born.
2007-2009
Two examples of major works
In 2007 RPM Italia was responsible for the construction of the flooring of the covered area of the Etnapolis shopping center designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas. The goal is to make the covering waterproof, driveable, and to create the relevant road signage in order to use it as a parking lot. 75,000 sqm of resin laid for a shopping center that develops over a linear area of 1km are just some of the numbers of this important project completed.

In 2009, another important challenge opens for RPM Italy, the C.A.S.E. project in Abruzzo. The Company, in fact, contributes to the realization of temporary housing modules provided to the populations after the terrible earthquake of Easter 2009.
The Company has worked on more than 800 apartments, creating the flooring and coverings for the bathrooms, terraces, and stairwells.
2011 The new headquarters
In 2011, contrary to the national market, the ownership inaugurated the new headquarters of the Company. In the new industrial area of Altavilla Vicentina (VI), 1400 sqm of offices, common areas, meeting rooms, and exhibition halls, along with 4000 sqm dedicated to production and storage, create the perfect environment to welcome clients and work to meet their increasingly complex needs.
A spacious and bright showroom welcomes visitors by providing various resin solutions

2015 The headquarters in Milan
Milan is undeniably the international capital of design and the Company felt it natural to open a commercial office to better support the various architects and designers it has been collaborating with for years.
2022 An important challenge
In the midst of the construction boom that the city of Milan is experiencing in these years, the Company has accepted an important challenge. To coat more than 2,000 steps in resin. It is a handcrafted achievement, practically on an industrial scale. Thus, the internal stairs of three magnificent towers are entirely coated with products from RPM Italy.

2025 the implementation of automated logistics
The company is always ready to respond to customer needs. In this specific case, it was necessary to bring the concrete lanes, through appropriate resin coatings, to a tolerance of more or less 1 mm to access the levels of the shelves with automated shuttle.
